West Norwood Twinned with Montmartre

Imagine that neighbourhoods around the world
Were twinned to each other, so that, for example
The legendary quarter of Montmartre would hold
Hands with our very own West Norwood and sample
The delights of a croissant in a friendly café
And a pointed metal tower in the corner of view
Old paint factories and a bus garage part of the melée
B&Q, the old cemetery, Beamish and McGlue
Bricolage twin neighbourhoods can be wed
When you see patterns unfold in your head
Let's put up a sign in metal and gold
Invite all the people and let the Feast unfold
